MoveSize provides planning estimates for moving volume, indicative weight, van capacity, trip counts, storage space and packing materials. The outputs are not guarantees.
Vehicle loading
You must confirm the exact dimensions, gross vehicle weight, payload and axle limits of the vehicle you use. Do not rely on MoveSize to determine whether a vehicle is legally loaded.
Storage
Storage recommendations are approximate planning estimates only and do not guarantee that possessions will fit a particular unit. Confirm the unit's actual internal dimensions, ceiling height, door opening, access restrictions, loading rules, prohibited items, fire-safety requirements and any insurance/security requirements directly with the storage provider.
MoveSize does not inspect storage premises, certify storage arrangements, recommend a particular provider or verify supplier prices. If you enter prices into the storage optimiser, the site performs arithmetic on the figures you provide; this should not be treated as an endorsement, quotation or statement that a supplier or unit is suitable for your circumstances.
Inventory and weight
Furniture and appliance dimensions and weights vary by product. Standard MoveSize items therefore use representative planning values. Add custom dimensions where an item is unusually large or heavy.
