What is in the MoveSize preset?
This is a worked example from the current 2-bed house inventory, not a fixed rule based on bedroom count. With furniture dismantling enabled where practical, the preset contains 82 individual item/box units across 6 household categories.

Quantities are the actual preset values used by the calculator. Boxes, suitcases and repeated furniture are counted as separate units.

The two-bedroom house preset adds a second sofa, garden items and another appliance compared with a lighter flat. The practical model rounds to 125 sq ft, while a regular-access layout moves to 175 sq ft.

What changes the result?
- This preset contains two sofas, two wardrobes, two bed frames and two mattresses, which create a larger awkward footprint than a flat with the same bedroom count.
- A tumble dryer is included as well as a fridge freezer and washing machine, increasing dense appliance volume.
- Garden items are represented by a bicycle, lawn mower and two garden chairs.
- The preset includes 44 moving boxes plus three suitcases; actual box counts vary sharply between households.
- Remove garden equipment, a second sofa or spare-room furniture if they are not part of your move rather than treating the property label as fixed.

Why not choose from the property size alone?
Two two-bedroom houses can differ by a second reception room, garden equipment, appliances, office furniture and the number of freestanding wardrobes. MoveSize uses the property preset only to create an editable inventory; the storage result comes from those selected belongings.
